Experienced receivers David Stapleton, Ira Bodenstein of Cozen O’Connor, Krista Freitag of E3 Advisors, Charlene Koonce of Brown Fox PLLC, James Sallah of Sallah Astarita & Cox, and Peter Zlotnick of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP competed against one another in “Receiver Feud, A Game Show” at NAFER’s 11th Annual Conference, held in Washington, D.C.

Oren Bitan of Buchalter, PC produced the panel/game show, testing the knowledge of some of the most experienced receivers in a “Family Feud” format. The receivers were asked about difficult and timely issues facing equity receiverships, including handling IRS disputes, filings, and refunds, complex in pari delicto issues, unique asset seizures, types of receiverships to avoid, outlandish claims objections, and priorities following the appointment of a receiver.
