Qualified candidate will work on client teams delivering a wide range of work on complex projects, interacting with executive-level decision makers across diverse industry sectors. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, ethical, excellent multi-tasker with at least 6-10 years of experience working in finance, accounting, or consulting in a fast-paced environment and does not want to follow the fixed corporate/routine accounting career path toward being a controller or CFO. Many of our successful team members began in finance or public accounting but were attracted to the more entrepreneurial career path of a management consultant.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to Managing Directors and Directors, the candidate will:
- Lead and/or work with others to take over financial and accounting controls for operating businesses and commercial real estate assets, including managing teams of operations, accounting, and financial personnel.
- Identify key performance drivers, cash flow forecasting and supporting operational needs on a wide range of problems across dozens of industry verticals.
- Deliver well-thought-out and focused work product that is accurate and can be easily distributed to internal and external contacts.
- Create 13-week cash flow & 3 Statement Financial modeling and forecasting.
- Be comfortable performing both low-level and executive-level work on the same account.
- Excel at delivering intensive written and financial reports and presentations.
- Act as a resource for the client on all processes including, but not limited to: preparation for bankruptcy proceedings, making working capital improvements, preparing liquidation analyses, loan negotiations/modifications, and oversight of claims processes.
- Present clearly and effectively during all meetings with C-suite, bankers, lawyers, and business owners.
- Work with the internal leadership team to identify business development opportunities and develop meaningful personal and business relationships.
- Travel up to 40% of time across the western United States to client sites, as needed.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate is a highly ethical, excellent multi-tasker with at least 6-10 years of experience working in finance, accounting, or consulting in a fast-paced environment and meets the following requirements:
- B.A. in finance, accounting; Masters in Accountancy (preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA); Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and/or Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) is a plus.
- Highly organized with excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- Expert knowledge of Excel (V-Lookup / Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook software programs.
- Strong analytical mindset, critical thinker, and possesses the ability to summarize large data sets.
- Must love problem-solving and implementing solutions.
- Comfortable with the unknown, work well under pressure, and possess the ability to pivot and/or switch gears quickly and often.
- Big 4 accounting or consulting experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of various accounting systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with restructuring, turnaround management, bankruptcy, distressed assets, receiverships, and the sell-side M&A process is a plus.
- Bonus points if your experience includes: A/R, inventory, cash, A/P, revenue, and expenses; running analytics/ratio on financials; working on cash flow statements; projections and audits across multiple industries.

- Lead and work with others to take over operational, financial, and accounting controls for businesses, commercial real estate assets, and large, complex estates.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to the leadership team based on financial and operational data.
- Support leadership team on project and corporate initiatives.
- Intensive written and financial reporting, memos, and letters.
- Assist with managing teams of operations, accounting, and financial personnel.

A qualified candidate is highly ethical, an independent worker, and an excellent multi-tasker with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance and/or business. Superior problem-solving skills and 2 - 5 years of experience working in accounting, consulting, law, or finance in a fast-paced environment are required, along with the following:
- Passion for solving problems and implementing solutions.

- Comfortable with an unpredictable schedule and pivoting quickly and often to meet tight deadlines.

Qualified candidate is a highly motivated, organized, natural problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced paralegal and/or executive assistant who will report to and support our President, Director of Operations and various project managers on internal operations and client matters. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Prepare and edit correspondence, spreadsheets, marketing documents, reports, and legal pleadings.
- Maintain internal company filing systems.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Monitor and maintain court calendars and deadlines.
- Manage and maintain executives' schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Answer corporate phone line, distribute/screen calls.
- Prepare, organize, and distribute incoming/outgoing mail.
- Work closely with the accounting department, log and deposit A/R checks, and signature stamp A/P checks.
- Assist with matters related to estate and trust clients, including managing and composing communications.
- Perform daily errands (bank, post office, supplies).
- Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs.
- Plan in-house or off-site activities, such as parties, luncheons, and celebrations.
- Assist accounting with administrative level tasks as needed.
