Stapleton Group was pleased to be a Silver Medal sponsor of the AbilityFirst Stroll & Roll. The annual event was held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Universal Studios Backlot.
AbilityFirst provides life-changing employment, recreational and socialization special needs programs for adults and children with developmental disabilities to help them reach their full potential. The organization relies on donations for about half of its annual budget and the annual Stroll & Roll is its signature event.
Stroll & Roll participants stroll, roll, walk or run through the Universal Studios Backlot. They enjoy visits by the Despicable Me Minions and other characters, meet the LA Laker Girls, Jaclyn Smith of Charlie’s Angels fame, Miss America Lee Meriwether (Catwoman!) and the entire NBC4 Today in LA news team. An expo with food trucks, carnival games, massages and other great vendors awaits participants after their successful stroll, roll, walk or run.
